Such as MetroArts Kids Camp: Scholarships for campers to attend one or two weeks of arts camp!  Now in its 20th year, MetroArts Kids Camp gives 7-12 year olds a chance to experience all the arts – music, dance, theater, and visual arts – for one or two weeks at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts. Kids crank up their creativity through hands-on activities involving each art form and also enjoy live performances taught by professional musicians, dancers, actors, and visual artists.

Such as Young Artists Debut Concerto Concert: A Gala Concert spotlighting ten outstanding winners of the 18th annual Young Artists Debut! Competition conducted by Niel Deponte. The 10 soloists, selected from an initial pool of 51 entrants, were then selected from 28 semi-finalists at auditions held at Lewis & Clark College’s Evans Auditorium. Winners will perform with DePonte and an orchestra drawn from the ranks of the Oregon Symphony and Oregon Ballet Theatre orchestras on Tuesday, April 10th, at 7:30 PM at the Newmark Theatre. Each young artist will perform at least one movement of a major concerto written for their instrument at the gala concert and will attend coaching sessions with DePonte. There they will discuss not only the interpretation of their concertos, but also how to solo with an orchestra, ways to approach repertoire, and what it takes to be a professional musician.

Such as the Creating Minds Symposium: The mission of CMS is to stimulate and inform an outgoing discussion on the kind of student our educational system should be producing to meet the needs of society in the 21st century. A chance for Educators, Administrators and Policy makers to meet in one place and discuss the future of education and what changes and reforms we can make together to benefit the system as a whole. Past CMS Speakers include Bernie Trilling and Charles Fadel co-authors of "21st Century Skills" and Dr. Howard Gardner and his "Five Minds for the Future" theory.

"Who makes the cats jump up and down?" That's 5 Guys Named Moe, for a 12 piece horn driven showstopping band! With a playlist that has something for everyone: Jazzy Standards, Retro Hits, or some good old Motown.

The Cocktail Dance will feature a large variety of hors d'oeuvres with delectable savory items directly from the Adrianna Hill Grand Ballroom Chef and a full dessert buffet.

Also featuring free champagne to start the evening off right!
